CS 062P Suspending Cases

A case may be
suspended by the Intake team for the following reasons:
- if more time is needed to obtain a copy of
an existing support order. For
procedures and more information, refer Volume 2.
- if requesting a copy of the “Affidavit for
Voluntary Acknowledgment of Paternity by Parents” because paternity
information is not currently available.
- if there is evidence of out-of-state
paternity documentation establishing paternity.
In addition, a Children in Care case may be suspended by an
Intake team to include the time necessary for the child(ren)
to be in a chargeable placement on the first day of the month and/or to obtain
a copy of an existing support order or juvenile court order for the child(ren) in care.
